Guest guest
Everyone on this forum, especially those with gut problems and autoimmune diseases should do the home test and check themselves for candida. About half or more people on this forum will have candida. LDN cannot help candida. If you have Candida bad enough it can over-power LDN. Those whose LDN seems to have stopped working need to check for candida/yeast overgrowth. Candida makes MS symptoms flair up terribly. Chronic candida can damage the immune system. How to check yourself for candida and helpful remedy suggestions in link below. Symptoms are also listed. Ignore the google ads at top. Novantrone suppresses the immune system and LDN boosts the immune system. Taking LDN and Novantrone together would be like driving the INDY 500 with one foot pressing the accelerator and one foot pressing the brake all at the same time. Guest guest
Hi , The novantrone is one scary med. I have never read up on it before. I looked it up and was directed to this site. Go to http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic2/mitoxantrone.htm It has some warnings for ms patients. I have never seen that before. It is a narcotic so the ldn will block its affects for pain. Maybe thats a good thing given the other affects it may have on you and your ms. I use elavil (amitriptyline (sp?). Its an old antidepressant used for neuropathy type pain ect... It may take awhile to work but when it does it works well. I have also found the ldn is helping with my pain from another disease. I hope this helps. Take Care > > HI; MY NAME IS SCOTT I'M NEW TO THE GROUP, I STARTED LDN (3MG) on 1/20/06. Guest guest
I should have read yours first . I was kinda confused. Funny how that first site pointed to it being a non no with ms and the ms society site was okay with it given the revised warnings. Go to http://www.nationalmssociety.org/Meds-Mitoxantrone.asp if interested. Take Care > , > > Do you mean Neurontin for neuropathic pain? Novantrone is chemotherapy.
