trying to explain the bouncing message for 360

There is an option with 360 that sends invites to all on your

IM, Group, and other lists you may have. There are people*who use

programs or viruses* who sign

up under names, specifically to spread spam. The e-mail latches on

to a group, and the contantly resends itself. We have two on my

Anime Melee group that send us invites to a singles site(NEVER CLICK

THE LINKS! NEVER..that's how they get more!!!). You can control it

by your Mods(moderators for Role Playing sites, dunno what you call

the people who regulate for this specific site) cleaning out the

addies

that don't post regularly*erratic, senseless, has nothing to do with

what site pertains to, or what people are asking*, have -BOUNCING-

on their descriptions, or

have fishy descriptions. My Melee site has no mods currently, they

split, so we just ignore the spam, stay away from the links, and

continue on.

Basically, ignore it. You can see from the title when it's not a

regular link, so don't open it. I have a rule in my e-mail. I never

open ANYTHING I don't recognize, has FW: or RE:, or is in another

language. Ticks my e-mail buddies off, cause I sometimes miss their

e-mails, but, I haven't gotten a virus through my e-mail. I also

accept no Istant Messages from people who are not on my Friends

list. They infiltrate your IM and steal all the information

from there too. You know when they get you, because you can't

message anyone..it just closes the program. I don't know how much

this helps, but you should be safe if you don't click on the links.

I have lost my hard drive to two viruses, so I may not know what all

the chat abbreviations are*bows head sadly at her lack of internet

suaveness*, but I have been reading up on the EBILS of SPAM ^_^

Everyone should definately check their friends lists and make sure

no one has 'added' themselves without invitation. If you don't

recognize them, chances are they didn't 'ask' to be there.

They 'spammed' they're way in....*grumbles at the evils of sensless

hacking losers*

Hope this answers some questions and makes you feel a little better.
