When I was mixing it myself, I just used a baby medicine syringe. Since it has a plunger on it, I would just shoot the liquid into my mouth and swallow. You can chase it with a little water or juice, but since I have bladder issues at night, didn't want to drink too much.

Also just want to let you know it took almost 9 months for me to see any symptom improvement and Dr. Bihari suggests giving the ldn at 6-9 months. Some people see changes immediately, but others can take awhile, everyone is different.

Yes, you need a prescription and then it has to be compounded at one of the recommended pharmacies list on the ldn website. You only need to make it yourself from the 50 mg pills if you order from Medsmex. People do this usually because that can't obtain a prescription.

Skip's in Boca Raton Florida is the least expensive, but he only uses one filler (avicel) and some people have allergic reactions to that. There are other pharmacies listed but the one that Dr Bihari recommends is Irmat in New York. They have different fillers and you can tell them which one you want.

When I first started, I got my prescription for 90 capsules in 1.5 mgs. That way you can take 1,2, or 3 pills and play with which is the best dose, 3 or 4.5mg. For some reason a lot of men do well on 3 mg whereas women usually do well on 4.5. Supposedly, ldn doesn't stop progression at less than 3 mgs and over 4.5 mg is too much.

I wish you luck Ed and please keep us updated. I started LDN from

medmex 10 days ago. 1.75 and now I'm up to 2.5mg(cc)on my syringe.

I am having trouble with my symptoms coming back and pain in my

joints and muscles. I have severe fatigue before I started LDN and

still have it mabey a bit worse. I feel kind of " out of it " more

than normal ( smile) I hope these symptoms will pass and that LDN

As for me, I just squirt the juice from my dropper straight onto my tongue and chase it down with a slug of water/juice.

You can get CAPSULES of LDN mixed with a filler from a number of pharmacists, but many of us buy pure Naltrexone 50mg tablets from Medsmex in Mexico and dissolve them with 50ml of distilled water, then drawing up a 3 or 4.5 ml dose each night with a baby syringe. Liquid dosing removes the filler question altogether.

The pills I got from medmex only come in a 50mg tablet. You mix the 50mg tablet into 50 mg of DISTILLED water and then each mg/cc( on a syringe) = 1 mg. Same here. It's *very* bitter and it lingers. Diluting it with a

normal size drink I found makes the whole drink bitter enough to be

unpleasant.
