Guest guest
As far as thyroid tests are concerned, TSH is pituitary gland hormone
which regulates the thyroid gland and it is the best way to measure
thyroxine levels. I also believe T3 & amp; T4 are thyroid gland markers,
maybe related to autoimmune activity? Are they T-cells, I didn't think
so but easy to look up. If I'm not mistaken, Armur is a meatpacking
company. In the olden days, before synthetic thyroid meds, they would
take thyroid glands from pigs, dry them out and sell the product as
thyroid medication. It was hard to maintain quality and the correct
dosage. Today, someone who needs thyroxine replacement takes a drug
like Synthroid which is very pure and accurately dosed.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ , Obviously, you know much more about the situation than me or my doctor who is a Professor of Medicine at the School of Medicine in San and the head of a Neuro-Sensory Center in Austin which specializes in balance and mobility problems. He is also having much success treating Autistic children with methods that most traditional doctors don't even consider! All I know is that MY prescription says that it is Armour (correct spelling) Thyroid 60mg to be taken every morning before eating. I take this because my doctor felt like either my T3 or T4 was too low. I really don't care which it is because I trust HIS judgement.
