GREAT NEWS!!!!! My wife has been on LDN for two weeks (3.0mg tabs from Skip's Pharmacy) and has realized great improvement (i.e. improved bladder control, she can actually run short distances, and a significant improvement in her cognitive function). She is actually doing so well she has set a goal to run a 5K with me later in the year. I should mention she was diagnosed 6 months ago (RR) and had been taking Rebif until 2 weeks ago.

I have two questions for the group:

1.) Assuming she can handle the 4.5mg dose, should she expect to see even more results?

2.) Anyone have information relative to pregnancy and taking LDN (Is that ill advised?)

Thanks and let's continue to spread the word regarding LDN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic news .

If she is doing so greatly on 3.0 I would recommend staying for a while. If she levels off or she just wants to experiment after a good period of stability then I would try 4.5. Getting her stabilized with symptoms is so wonderful, not everyone gets to realize this. In fact I am thinking that many MS'ers seem to react best to LDN if they have only started symptoms for MS within a year. My husband, like your wife had only had symptoms for MS a short while and he had miraculous results (improvements) very quickly.

As far as pregnancy, it is not recommended to take LDN while pregnant. But there is an amazing phenomena that takes place for MS'rs when they are pregnant. It is as if they are on LDN. I think you immune system is on super mode because most that are pregnant and nursing loose most of their symptoms. We have heard this time and time again. In fact there are some studies going on out there in regards to MS and pregnancy. But I would suggest giving her some time after being stabilized on LDN before venturing into something else with her body.

If you have not already received the MS-LDN welcome e-mail let me know and I will send you a copy.

Thanks

Aletha
