Guest guest
I'm recently diagnosed with mild parkinson's. The Rx is 6 mg/day Requip. So far my symptoms are mostly controlled most of the time. Are any members taking LDN for parkinson's? what is your experience? where are you buying and at what cost? Guest guest
My husband, with Parkinsons, has been taking LDN for the last 10 months. It's hard to say for sure it is stopping progression--he has had a bit of symptom increase but not major and he is on fairly low levels of medications--1 25/100 carbidopa/levidopa and 5 mg of selegiline a day until just recently when he started to add mirapex to see if it would help eliminate the restless leg syndrome type tingling/pain he has in his right arm and hand. He intends to stay on LDN as it has no down side other than the $18 or so a month that we pay out of pocket. But it's certainly worth that if the LDN can slow, if not stop, progression of the PD. We have ours mailed from Skip's Pharmacy in Boca Raton, FL because we have found them to be the most economical source. Currently, he is taking it as a liquid as we had gotten some naltexone thru Medsmex to have in case we ran out of the capsules. We have seen no difference between him taking the liquid or capsule form. Guest guest
HI. My cousin, a mid-sixties male, has Parkinson's. I noticed on the ldninfo.org site that it mentions ldn has helped people with Parkinson's. Does anyone out there have any experience with that? I'd love to pass on some positive info about it to him, so perhaps he can try to get on LDN ASAP. Thanks ... **************************************See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)
