Fourth month on LDN

Good Morning Sheng Lin, I am happy to know your mom slept better. Sleep is refreshing and every gain is new hope. That is how it is for me. Each person is unique and each has a different experience with LDN. I noticed cognitive benefits first, after about a week I knew for certain I could concentrate better. I increased my dosage a little to fast and began feeling very stiff. My son called me "enmom"......., so I backed down to 3mg and have very gradually increased, now at 4mg for the last couple of days.....so far so good. My energy level picked up gradually and I lost that "constant exhaustion". I still have to rest, but everything seems to be balancing and the positive effects are kind of sneaking up on me as I notice I'm able to do

more. I don't think there is any way to determine who will "turn the corner when" since we are battling so many different problems. I was guilty of looking at my dropper of LDN like a magic potion at first, I'd tell it, "OK now...tomorrow I'll be all better".....then waking up still feeling like I'd been in a stampede I realized it was the wrong approach. Now I look at it kind of like weight loss, I didn't gain it fast....so it will take a while to get rid of it, but I have faith, I'm doing the right things and I believe I'll get there! I hope this helps, I don't know how to better explain it since it is different for each of us. I hope your mom feels better and keeps positive. Hugs Gigi

Gigi: Thank you for your email. It is always helpful

to know other's progress on LDN. It gives one hope to

keep going. I appreciate you sharing your experience

on LDN. From all indications, we know that we need to

give LDN at least three months and my Mom is committed

to doing it. She had a hard time to wean off narcotics

during the first month. Right now, it is more of a

pain management issue. She also has issues with

urination/bm controls and fatique. I was told that

stiff legs would go away after about three month. She

is on 3 mg/night LDN from Skip's. With the support of

this group, it is easier to travel down this road.

Thanks and kind regards, Sheng Lin
