Guest guest
Hi Sheng Lin, I feel hopeful because it is working for me as well as others, and am happy to share positive news. I know too when there is pain it is difficult at times to do the things which will help reduce that pain, like warm baths. They work well but it is sometimes more difficult to get in the bathtub than remember how relaxing it is. I have had to make myself keep moving, to stop because of the pain is the worst thing I can do it only makes it worse. Because LDN is working for me there are those great days that I tend to overdo it! Stacking the porch with firewood probably is not the best idea, it takes a long time but I think it will count as exercise. I don't mind as much if I feel awful for a day or so afterward because I not only feel I was able to accomplish what I could not do before but I know exercise is necessary to keep myself from locking up. The LDN, supplements, Knox geletin, asperin, small more frequent meals, hydration, sleep, and that "soap" in the bed to reduce/prevent spasms are all helping restore some life to my life, now I need to find a more "gentle" exercise too. I hope your mom gets relief soon, expecting it will come is a big part of it. Four months ago it took me an hour to wash a sink of dishes, now I can do them in 15minutes. It is a simplistic analogy but I think it is a significant improvement, and it keeps me hopeful! Hugs Gigi Bring photos to life! New PhotoMail makes sharing a breeze. Guest guest
Hi Gigi, Thank you for the email. My Mom slept with soap last night and she got up only twice as oppose to four to five times. I hope this pattern continues. She started LDN on 2/1/06 and it has been almost a month. We are just waiting for her to turn the corner. How long did it take you to turn the corner? From various posts I gather that some people felt the benefits very soon and some take weeks, maybe months to notice benefits. What is your experience? Thank you so much. Kind regards, Sheng Lin --- gigi held <georgina374@...> wrote: > Hi Sheng Lin, > I feel hopeful because it is working for me as > well as others, and am happy to share positive news. > I know too when there is pain it is difficult at > times to do the things which will help reduce that > pain, like warm baths.
