Guest guest
Hi, I had it. It was the right side but mine was odd. It was caused by an arachnoid cyst. It " crushed " my cerebellum and pushed it into the sinus and also pushed the cerebellum out of the foramen magnum, " causing " my chiari. Thankfully, my body created what's called " collateral flow " around the blockage. In other words, there were new veins that " grew " and bypassed the sinus. I still get headaches and VERY prominent facial and head veins from this but no residual problems (yet). Subject: Transverse Sinus Stenosis To: Date: Friday, March 16, 2012, 11:21 AM  Hello. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has symptoms, clots, or problems related to Transverse Sinus Stenosis. If you have had surgery for this, did you get a VP shunt, stent, etc? Thanks so much, Pam
