Guest guest
Donna. I had plenty of stomach problems from the N-Saids --mainly internal bleeding and was int he hospital in June 2001 and the Doctor told me not to take any n-saids and I do a lot better myself with the tylenol. Maybe your doctor could suggest something else being you can't take Tylenol. Also you might want to read the little patient advice sheet that came with the Nexium and if you do not have one you can do a search on line to find out the possible side effects from the medication. Good luck Dorothy -- Questions Hi Everyone, I have been gone for a week and am trying to catch up on all the news. Hope everyone is having a good week so far. My first rheumy appt. isn't until Sept 20, but I have some questions I hope somebody can help me with. I was diagnosed with gastritis 8 or 9 months ago and have been taking Nexium. I was much better until I started taking Advil for the last 3 weeks for tailbone pain. I have not injured myself, but I am in constant pain in my tailbone. The pain actually began back in March but has steadily gotten worse until now it is constant even with meds. I mentioned it to my neurologist and since he is fixing to retire, he didn't really want to address the pain except to say it may be from the Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, or whatever I finally get diagnosed with!!! Anyway, my Gastritis is flaring up something awful. I have been sick now for several days and I feel sure it must be the Advil, but I have to take something and Tylenol doesn't work. Has anyone here dealt with anything similar to this? If so, HELP!!!!! Thanks so much. Guest guest
Which year was your all time favorite and why? The year that I met my wife, 1985 and married the following year. Also the year my daughter gave me a grandson, 1987 and 2 years later gave me a granddaughter. They are truly the light of my life. When I am around them I don't think about my MS. I just think of how great it is to have them. Which year was the worse for you? 1962 to 1969 Served in the Navy serving in Vietnam and lost many of my close fried that I made while in the service. Also went through the good old stress syndrome about 10 years later. That is I guess the worse of it all. My MS is just a fact of life and I have to deal with it. My family and friends are helping me do just that Griffith ggriffith@... http://ggriffith.blogspot.com/ Few cases of eyestrain have been developed by looking on the bright side of things. Guest guest
Bill, I was aboard aircraft carriers. Mainly on the Enterprise CVA-N 65. I had a close friend that was on the swift boats. He didn't make it back, could not find much to send home, hit with a RPG and was gone. I try not to dwell on that part of my life, I had a hard time with getting over the Vietnam Stress Syndrome. Anyone that was over there went through more than they needed to. Then when we came back, we were treated like we were sh#%^ & #t. It was not a good time to be fighting for the rights of others. At least we gave everyone the right to protest. At 06:40 AM 5/23/2005, you wrote: were you one of those Swift Boaters during last year's elction?
