Guest guest
Hello all, Just wanted to let you all know that we are back home safe and sound. Kennedy's surgery went well, apparently one side of her nose was almost completely blocked over and the other was on it's way as well <I guess that explains all the lovely green stuff we've had lately!!!>. We got some bad news, <bad, but not surprising> they did an ABR on Kennedy when she was out and discovered a 60 db loss in the left ear <we were told all along that ear was pretty close to normal hearing, but we always wondered why it didn't seem like she was hearing us>, so now, two ears with hearing aids. Also, they did an eye test while she was out and she has a prescription for glasses <oughta be fun in combination with the hearing aids!> Anyway, the surgery went well, she came out of the anesthesia well and her heart is doing okay so we are thankful for that. I'm a little disheartened at the prospect of trying to keep glasses, two hearing aids, and an eye patch on all at the same time with her little malformed ears, <right now it's one aid and a patch and it's darn near impossible> but I guess we have to be thankful for the good stuff. Oh yeah! How could I forgot, we got a BUTTON when she was out as well yay!!!!! I love it!!! Suppose I should unpack now, all the suitcases are still by the door...I missed my puter...
