Guest guest
has she tried the soap in the bed thing. Many people have had success putting soap in their bed at night near where they are having spasms or pain and surprisingly it has helped many. Just don't use Dove or Dial, apparently all others seem to help. Aletha [low dose naltrexone] Body aches on LDN > It is my daughter who has MS. She has been on 4 mg. I tried the soap (different brands then stayed with Ivory) under my sheets and got no relief from these spasms. I had the soap in there for several weeks. Since I can sleep only on my left side and it's the right hip, I decided to try putting the soap right against the skin in that area on my hip. The bar stays in place under my pj's because I don't move during the night. I've done it now for several nights and I am not getting the spasms at all. Just thought I'd pass this on in case the soap didn't work for others just under the sheets. Be well Arlene

I thought if it was on the leg (thigh, knee, calf) that maybe an ace bandage wrap would work. Either one of those ones that fits around the leg, or one you could cut to desired length and wrap around yourself. Might work better for some. Guest guest
Wow Arlene thanks for letting me know. So the soap worked for the spasms but only when right up against your skin. I have been thinking of that because my husband moves around quite a bit at night and I thought it might not be near enough to the area. We should invent some sort of way to keep it up against the body. Thanks Aletha Re: [low dose naltrexone] Body aches on LDN In a message dated 2/22/2006 8:23:44 P.M. Guest guest
Hi Arlene, Since I found that pain, spasms, as well as numerous trips to bthrm awakened me before "soap", I'd say it seems to work on all of the above. That's not to say there aren't exceptions. During UTIs I'll still wake at least once or twice, (better than previous 4 times), also when having more pain in hip and knee from arthritis. When I remember I'll rub some essential oils or muscle rub on pain spots first and place a hot towel on the bed when ready to go to sleep. I said, when I remember because the soap has performed so well for me I can now better tolerate the pain while awake knowing that I will be getting a good night sleep. That's my truth an' I'm stickin to it! Hope it works for you! Gigiarlizotte@... wrote: In a message dated 2/23/2006 11:26:35 A.M. Guest guest
The soap does work for me, but what works even better is Magnesium, plus it helps me sleep.
