Guest guest
It's easier than that. Just set new members to Moderate. After seeing what the first few messages are content wise, those who want to post inappropriate stuff can be banned from the list and those who do post appropriately can then have their membership set to NO moderation. mjh Date: Wed, 22 Feb 2006 02:07:22 +1100 From: C <covo@...>Subject: Re: Looking for luve? Here's a tip for you...Yes, everybody will be. No, not unless someone has time to become a moderator and vet all requests to join. Very unlikely anybody has the time and inclination to do that on such a huge list so best to just ignore them and hit Delete.
Guest guest
You need to either be the group Owner or have full Moderator status to make changes and set parameters for group membership. One membership option is to have anyone join the group and be automatically put on Moderated status. THis is how I have my groups set up. That way, when new members begin to post messages, I have to approve the messages before they go to the whole list. If the message content is not appropriate to the group, I reject the message and put the member on the Banned list. Very easy to do and not at all time consuming. Hope this helps mjh In a message dated 2/23/06 10:27:55 A.M.
