LDN and compounding pharmacies

If you're having trouble finding a doctor who will prescribe LDN, you

might try calling your local compounding pharmacy. (No one has

mentioned this for a while, so I thought I'd mention it again for the

newer people who might be having trouble finding an LDN-friendly

doctor.)

LDN is made by a compounding pharmacy, not by your corner pharmacy.

You can locate your nearest CP in the yellow pages, or by calling your

regular pharmacy and asking for the names of the nearest CP.

Call the CP, and ask to speak to the pharmacist. Ask if they have a

moment to chat. If they do, ask if they have experience with Low

Dose Naltrexone. (Many do, since LDN is used for other things besides

MS.) Get a friendly conversation going. Ask what they use for

filler, and what dosage they usually compound.

Then, once this nice little chat is underway, you can ask if the

pharmacist knows the names of any doctors who prescribe LDN for MS.

I have not yet heard of any Compounding Pharmacist refusing this

request. They will NEVER give you a patient's name... but giving out

doctors' names just seems to be good business for everyone.

Just a thought.
