Guest guest
Bret, Two things. You need to get more sleep at night! You should be getting more sleep. You can't take Rebif or any of the interferons while taking LDN. Guest guest
Brett, I have been on ldn 4.5 mg for almost 3 yrs. I weight about 235. No progression, the only side effect was interrupted sleep the first 2 or 3 weeks. Also vivid dreams during that time. Nothing negative. I am also secondary. There is a conflict with all the ms drugs except copaxone. Guest guest
Thanks Aletha, Got the welcome pack, but haven't had time to look into the links. A couple of people posted that LDN conflicts with Rebif, but my doctor said there is no conflict. Right now I have to go with his assessment, I know him and he is a very leading edge MS neurologist here in Texas. (Unlike the first three I went to.) Does anyone here have personal experience doing LDN while on Rebif? I am interested in your experience if you have been there done that. I hate to get off the shots now that I'm used to them. Also I'm finishing the monthly Solumedrol infusion this week, anyone think that I should wait a few days to start the LDN? Forgive my many questions, but I would love to hear from someone who has actually done it, lived through it, not just hearsay opinions. Thanks to all that responded to my post. Brett Just wondering, how much did your doc know about low dose naltrexone (LDN) when you asked him about it? Has he prescribed it for other patients? That would be great if he has had previous patients' experience with LDN. That would mean that we are finally getting to the allopathic doctors. Be well Arlene
Guest guest
Bret, Rebif is a immune suppressant. LDN boosts the immune system. How could they not conflict? I believe Dr. Bahiri (Spelling?) states on his web site that one should not take the interferons with LDN. You might want to print that out for your Doc and fax it to him. Guest guest
Either your neuro doesn't know what he is talking about or he is deliberately setting you up for failure so he can say " See, I told you LDN wouldn't work! " . Neither way is good news........... :-( Brett wrote: > A couple of people posted that LDN conflicts with Rebif, but my > doctor said there is no conflict.
