Guest guest
In a message dated 6/27/01 6:11:50 AM Eastern Daylight Time, Sandy I, too, used to deal wih cold sores. I find that taking l-Lysine regularly and officinalis tincture daily has held the cold sores at bay except when I am under extreme stress, etc. Then an outbreak is very mild and responds withing 24 hours to topical officinalis essential oil. Hope this helps MJH writes: << Message: 11 Date: Wed, 27 Jun 2001 01:46:05 EDT From: sandytor@... Subject: RE: Need Assistance With Kutapressin From: Sandy Torenko <sandytor@a> Hi Guys, Recently, seems at least two months or more, I told you about having a celation treatment in Dallas which caused me to have a hypertensive crisis. I screamed for 5 hours in hideous pain, and I was slightly paralyzed from the waist down, not being able to bend my legs. The next day, I woke up with a case of herpes on my face which has been just another one of those coping nightmares. It gradually became part of me, and spread from my lips to my checks, to my forehead, eyebrows, down to my eyelids, and all around the upper part of my eye. I became quite neurotic as I could amuse myself moving the virus around my face spending much time in front of the mirror with my nasty new growths. I've taken Valtrex the whole time, and unfortunately I forgot the best old time remedy BHT. That is a chemical compound never approved by the FDA. At one time it was used as a food preservative. Since I've been using that, it has cleared up quite a bit, but it still lingers like a leech. While on the subject, if you don't know this remedy, buttermilk is also very helpful and in most cases gets rid of herpes right away, if you do it soon enough. Just swish it around frequently and spit it out. Unfortunately for me, I didn't remember about this until a month or so later so it didn't work, but I still got some and just splashed it all over my face. Recently, I ran across a paper on kutapressin as therapy for a wide variety of dermatologic conditions, Herpes being one. So I got a prescription from my Dr. here and he instructed me that when it came in, to take it to his office, and they would give me my first shot. By the way, the pharmacy didn't tell me until today that the Dr. needed to mess with the insurance co. on this one so I impatiently paid the $175.00. But my Dr. is on vacation anyway. I told my Dr. here that I would have my other Dr. give me my first shot but my appointment isn't till Friday. Since I made the decision to just take it tonight I was wondering if anyone has taken this drug. Are there any side effects that I should be nervous about? Do I need to worry about having a hypertensive crisis? I would appreciate any input you might have as I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the drug. Thank you for an appreciated reply if one comes my way, Sandy >>
Guest guest
>>>I gave copies to all my doctors, but whether or not they read it or not I don't know. I also have 3x5 cheat cards for myself to remember all my questions and concerns. I feel like I'm back in college half the time. Doctor appointments, a necessary evil.<<< I feel blessed to have a pediatrician like mine. We have vaccinated to date since he's was Dx after all the shots were given. We are due for some boosters this summer. I saw my ped yesterday and told him that I did not want to give Sammy his boosters; that I'd rather check the titers. He was in complete agreement and will order the bloodwork for me to do that. He said when he wnet to med school, kids didn't get boosters until they were 12! That's one less battle for me. The sad thing is, we are moving this summer and will need to find new doctors but he said he would help me locate one.

Dr Bihari has many patients with HIV or AIDS who stayed on LDN during their pregnancy .. he personally I believe thinks it is safe. I don't think anyone ever had a problem. However as a responsible doctor he tells people to go off it when pregnant as there are no trials UNLESS the condition they are dealing with is very serious and not worth risking stoppping LDN over .. I will be speaking with Dr Bihari on weds 15th .. so I will ask him directly to see what his current opinion is. I will pose your question directly and get back. All the Bestwww.marybradleybooks.com> well, I wasn't getting it.. but I'll reply to see what happens... and > the post makes it to the group anyway?>> Re: [low dose naltrexone] Anyone else Getting this?>>>> Hmmm, was going to suggest you must have had a virus of some kind but>> after my posts in the last half hour or so I also got the same reply. >>>
