Guest guest
Hi Everyone, This is off topic. I have a friend that suffers from terrible long headaches. He is not on LDN or have any other health issues. Does anyone have any advise for him. Thanks so much Aletha [low dose naltrexone] > > >> >> Im curious if anyone else has had any problems with >> DLP? Guest guest
Not being facetious (and I'm not a big fan of doctors), but maybe first see a doctor to determine if there are as yet unknown health issues. My next door neighbor has cluster headaches. She says she's tried every prescription drug offered and the only one that helps her is injectable imitrex, though it doesn't always help, either. I get migraines occasionally and for me the best drug has been midrin, but a close second is excedrin, name brand or generic. I've always found if I'm going to take something for a migraine, the sooner I take it the better it works. With experience, one learns how a migraine feels before the pain starts to get intense. That is the time to take something, meditate, lay down in a dark, quiet room, or whatever works. Don't wait until it gets bad. LDN shouldn't hurt your friend and might help. It more or less cured my wife's 8 month long (BAD) headache on the first dose. In fairness, it was what she called " an MS headache " , but who knows? Guest guest
Thanks Wesley, I will pass the e-mail onto my friend. He has been to a few doctors and he has had many tests run. He does not yet have a reason for the headaches pin pointed. He doesn't have LDN as he does not have any other symptoms that would suggest needing LDN. But I have heard of others loosing their cluster headaches once they started LDN as a treatment for something else (just like your wife).
