Folks

These are two different words with two different meanings.

So, a spell checker will probably not find the issue.

Let's stop this now. Literacy, grammar and spelling are not the focus of this board, healing with LDN is. Most of us kind of knew what was meant even though the word choice of the writer was not as precise as it could be, in generally accept terms.

Rae, All I can say is that Althea has given so much of her time and effort to this subject that I consider her much more than a LDN/MS expert. She doesn't act like one, she is one. Pompous assholes like you should bow out of this forum. Thanks for your co-operation. Did I spell ASSHOLE correctly? Or maybe anus is more up your alley. Also to "bandy" means to toss words about in a casual or frivolous manner. I don't think that applies to this forum. There is nothing frivolous here. I think you should get your grammar straight. Of course I am joking! Some folks are just way too sensitive... or maybe they're atrocious spellers too? Your spell-checker did work, but you likely just picked the wrong word from Outlook's database! No biggie...

But since we're on the subject, I notice that many of the US folks on this website are truly awful spellers. I'm frequently a little 'embarrassed' that a lot of foreigners on our web group write better English than a lot of Americans do. If other folks out there have this problem occasionally, then I suggest we all just turn our spell-checkers on. In Outlook or Outlook Express, it's easy: From your main menu, go into Tools, Options, then the Spelling tab, put a check in every box on the page, OK, and you're done!

Cheers, Rae

Well now Rae,

I hope you are joking around because I never want to seem like I know anything close to an expert. In fact I only know what my husbands experience is and what I have learned from others on the chat site.

Believe it or not I make all of my income from writing reports. I am the worst speller you have ever come across, and I mis use words even though I read a lot. And I can't remember terms or names for things. In college I used to bring all of my things into a typist who corrected my spelling in the process. One day the typist could not do the work for me and I had to turn in a paper to my instructor. He said he had a hard time believing that was my work just because he thought I was such an accomplished writer and yet all of the mis spellings were so hard to get through. I have been so freed in my life due to spell check. Thank goodness for computers.

Thanks

Aletha

Now let's get back ON TOPIC -- it's LDN, remember?

Rae,

My heart goes out to you, obviously MS is not your biggest problem. Maybe you need to find a group that has people more like you with sticks up their rectum (but are good spellers). Aletha is our Queen! A little respect!

PS if you took this personally, good! That's how I meant that!
