SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY

Hello Group!

Well it has been a while since I have posted. It has been about 1 year and 5

months since my last decompression surgery, and I am happy to report I am doing

good! Dr. Bolognese is a God send! However, I still suffer from dizziness and

daily headaches, but the chronic fatigue comes and goes, but not as often. I am

definitely feeling a lot better than I did when I first went to see Dr.

Bolognese. He said that he would try to get me back to a point that I can

manage, and he has done is job well.

Well I have to let all of you know that, I just received my approval for Social

Security Disability. It took 2 years, application filing, then an appeal, then

a hearing. So, for those you who have applied for Social Security Disability

don't give up! Even if they deny you the first 2 go arounds...go to the hearing

and let the Judge see the face of Chiari...it helps! If you need to ask me any

questions, please do not hesitate to contact me! Now since they have approved

me, and I don't know how many of you have been approved in the past, but it sets

a precedence in recognizing that Chirari is a disability and we are in need of

help as much as anyone else with a recognized disability. God Bless you all!
