Guest guest
Below is the reply from a company that distributes the form of B1 that my husband has been taking. I wanted to post his reply for all of those interested in looking at a good oral source of large dosages of B1. A few people have stated that they notice a large difference in how much energy they have and a better feeling of well being while taking this product. (don't worry, I don't have stock in this vitamin company). My best to all, Aletha ....................................................................... Dear Aletha: Your order will ship today via USPS priority mail. As to your question regarding benfotiamine and MS, I have had several clients with MS tell me that they believe a daily regimen of 600mg. of benfotiamine (two capsules twice per day) is superior to periodic thiamine hydrochloride injections. The 1962 US Patent for benfotiamine (http://www.benfotiamine.org/03064000_001.pdf) seems to bear that contention out in its Tables II & III. I note that benfotiamine is also several magnitudes safer than thiamine hydrochloride and is the preferred source of active thiamine in the body. If durable levels of active thiamine are a benefit to those dealing with MS, then it seems to make sense that a daily oral regimen of benfotiamine would be the most effective, least invasive, most convenient and least expensive way to maintain such levels. This might be a useful link to post on your site: http://www.benfotiamine.org/FAQ.htm. Feel free to post anything from my websites to yours as you wish.
