I have done what I think is a pretty thorough check on the internet but can't find anyone here with it. Quite a few places have the L form (L-phenylalanine) but that is no use to us - it has to be the DL form. I even found one place in Perth with it advertised for sale on their website so thought "You beauty!!" and ordered two bottles. When it eventually arrived (they obviously did a lot of chasing up trying to get it judging by emails in the meantime) it was only the L-phenylalanine form so I sent it back. They have now removed DLP from their website. I regularly order a lot of antioxidants from the US so my next order will have DLP on it too. Gayle ston wrote: > Hi - I'm in Australia. If you don't go with the Solaray brand Aletha suggests, research on various brands of supplements shows that Country Life is GMP certified. (Good manufacturing Practices). I called Source Naturals and they do not have this seal. I don't know how much it means to have this seal, but I feel a little better when the supplement has it, or a USP seal. Guest guest
Make sure that it is DL phenylalanine rather than just L-phenylalanine. Aletha Re: [low dose naltrexone] What is DLP? Guest guest
Hi , I don't see the brands on the sheet. There are some attachments but I cannot get and image when I open them. The best brands is Solaray according to Dr. Bihari and I think I see a difference in my husbands overall mood on a different brand. Not bad, but he just seems a bit less energetic. Guest guest
Hi, Is the DLP the DL phenylalanine? And if so, do you all recommend talking this when you have a cold and chest/nasal congestion? Thanks Annette
Guest guest
Yes it is DL phenylalanine. I don't think it is a problem to take it when you have a cold. You should read the warnings (high blood pressure etc.). Aletha Re: [low dose naltrexone] What is DLP? Hi Hi, Is the DLP the DL phenylalanine?
