Guest guest
Brett, Sounds like your doc really is a caring guy. Can I suggest that you put it to him that the other patient he put on it more than likely had stomach cramps from whatever filler she was using and not the LDN itself. Also, the percentage of people who get stomach cramps, whether due to the filler or possibly even the LDN, is very small so even if it wasn't the filler she was in a small minority. If he was willing to prescribe it for her then even by his own standards of trials he certainly hasn't given it a fair go at all. You obviously know him quite well now - is an approach something along those lines likely to help him prescribe it for you too to give it a fairer go? If you have problems with it (unlikely but possible) then his other patients who in future may want to try LDN are probably no worse off than you are now, but if it helps you then they should get him to prescribe it without all the hassles.
