Guest guest
Hi M , As long as your not on any Narcotic Opioid drugs then you can start the LDN now. I started LDN September 2005 and have had no problems with it. I started with 3 mg and just went up to 4.5 mg. I'll make this brief, I was dx in Aug'05 andbeen relapsing every other month since, my last onebeing in Feb. 06. Relapsing for me means, hard timewalking, extreme fatigue, stiffness/weakness in legs, unbalanced gait, bladder control issues, among someother things to a lesser degree. Since Feb. 12th,after my solumedrol treatments, I changed my diet(swank), been juicing fruits/veggies, going to the gymdaily, and getting alot more rest. I feel reallygood, the symptoms have subsided so much (walkingfine, better control of baldder). To the point now, I gave my neuro lots of info on LDNand she agreed to prescribe it to me. Should I startnow? I have read that many people who have started, felt worse in the beginning or fell into anotherrelapse, which scares me because I feel good and haveenergy and would hate to relapse yet again.__________________________________________________

I also take Motrin. Do I need to not take them? Akiba
Guest guest
I take LDN so I will continue to do well. It sounds like your immune system is working well and you have managed your ms. Anything can trigger your ms and LDN is an insurance marker in a way. I went through a very stressful year last year with no attacks. I credit that to LDN plus I also have a very controlled yet enjoyable life. Hope that helps answer your question. You should definitely be on LDN unequivocally without a doubt. There are too many anecdotal stories to ignore the power of this little capsule. Guest guest
Hi M , It sounds like you have only been RX'd a short while. My husband only had symptoms for MS for 3-4 months prior to starting LDN. It was the best choice we could have made. I think most everyone with MS benefits from taking LDN, however having MS a short period of time seems to have a really great chance of doing well. My husband is 95% better and had no side effects. But of course everyone is different so it is best to be prepared just in case. I would not hesitate personally but it is a decision that only you could make. We were very nervous, but thinking about it now I should have been more nervous about not having it, or trying one of the sanctioned drugs. Would you like me to send you a copy of the " welcome e-mail " ? Best of luck, we are all behind you.
