You might want to get checked for Lyme via Western Blot by IGeneX Labs(do a search in search engine for their lab) donna/ct antibiotics & LDN Thu Mar 16, 2006 00:50 64.148.25.175 I started LDN in 2001 and did quite well for about a year. Found out I have Lyme in Sept. 2003. Started antibiotic treatent and found I couldn't tolerate the LDN. Dr. Bahari lowered dosage twice, 4.5 to 3.0 then to 2.0. Still got nauseaus, very faint etc. right after I took the LDN during the Lyme treatments. I think maybe it increases the herxs of the lyme die-off. I do believe the LDN helped my body recognize the Lyme. I got more symptoms when my immune system began fighting the spirochete. I happen to have the MS immune response to lyme disease...others get the arthritis response, others the pschycological (ie: memory loss, anxiety disorders). I'm doing great with the lyme treatments. Been through alot of different protacols and have improved (even alittle) on each one. Been on minocycline & diflucan since March 2005 with breaks. This is the most " normal " I've been. I say, the best I felt in 20 years...(didn't realize how bad I had felt until I started to get better) I still have the LDN and do want to incorperate it but " do I really want to mess with success? " Just my own experience
