Guest guest
Hi, I am owner of the Autism_LDN list and have a question for you adults. One of my clients, mother of an autistic child, is in my study and has been on LDN 4.5mg for 5 weeks, and just found out she is pregnant. She wants to know if she should stop the LDN. On her pretesting she showed some significant disordered immune parameters (not unusual for moms of autistic kids) though has not shown any overt autoimmune disorder or unusual immune impairment. My intuition is that the LDN would actually help give her fetus some immune support, though I thought I would suggest she go to the lower dose of 3mg if she continues. If anyone has heard Dr. Bihari speak to the subject of LDN during pregnancy or has access to asking him, I would very much appreciate it. I am awaiting a call from Dr. Vojdani who helped me design my research study, but I doubt if he would really know the answer to this question, as he is not a physician but a brilliant laboratory immune specialist. Thanks for any help! Dr. Jaquelyn McCandless
