Guest guest
Braydon has not been doing well since his ER visit last night so we drove him to lubbock to the ER and by the time we got there he had a 103.4 fever, and vomiting, and unbearable head pain, and his face was really swollen. Neurosurgeon did a LP, bloodwork, and urine test and said his preliminary tests came back that his White cell count in his CSF and bloodwork was extremely high, he also had high levels of protein and his CSF was very cloudy when they did the LP, so now the neurosurgeon says he has Bacterial Meningitis. I asked about them doing a MRI and the neuro dr said he would send him for one in the morning if the antibiotics didnt seem to be doing the trick. They are treating hi with broadspectrum antibiotics while we wait again on the cultures to grow. Meanwhile the dr has admitted him back into ICU and said he will be here for a while. Please continue to keep him in your prayers and pray that these dr's figure out once and for all, what is going on with him. Guest guest
Janna! I had a 103 fever 3 days after surgery but, it when down with normal Tylenol at the hospital. This can be a rejection of the patch used to cover the incision on the Brain. My doctor used heart tissue from a cadaver for patch to avoid any possible reaction. I am not a doctor but I read a lot. I hope that he gets well soon. I'll be praying for his recovery. is El Quickero 11. ________________________________ To: Sent: Sunday, March 11, 2012 3:09 AM Subject: Update: Braydon back in ICU  Braydon has not been doing well since his ER visit last night so we drove him to lubbock to the ER and by the time we got there he had a 103.4 fever, and vomiting, and unbearable head pain, and his face was really swollen. Guest guest
Poor Braydon! I am so sorry for his pain. How we long for perfection, but only God's kingdom will bring that. I surely hope he gets some relief very soon. Lillian SantanaSan , Texas Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning how to Dance in the Rain. To: From: jannawoodington@...
