Guest guest
I am taking Mag and Vit. B6 among a long list of other supplements. I just ordered a magnesium "oil" spray to see if that works any better. A 24-hour urine Ca+ that shows my system doesn't hang on to Ca++. This is also true in my hair analysis. The Ca++ is going into the hair and out in the urine and not into the bone. Progesterone and Testosterone supplementation was mentioned but I have had those for years with no help. Osteoporosis is a very real problem as it has gotten much worse in the last two years. My acupuncturist has had me on a Fibroplex. It contains Magnesium, Malic Acid & B Vitamins. I have used this since 2004 while my bone density dropped a point in that time. It went from -1.8 to -2.8 in less than two years. The problem could be heavy metals but that can take years to change. I am working on that now. Sorry that I have tried so many of these things but that is the reason I was interested in this forum. The muscle and joint pain from CFS/Fibro makes it hard to do any exercise to increase bone mass, plus I have fractures. Did I mention I also use Armour Thyroid which is also supposed to increase bone mass in certain cases? So, end result, so far is I have a PCP, an Endo, a Acupuncturist, a Chiropractor and nothing has created a real change in the declining bone density. Lee -- Re: Re: Newbie Intro and questionI don't expect to get a script because as I said Kaiser doesn't treatFibro/CFS. I can try the cherries, couldn't hurt, but I already havemelatonin and it doesn't help at all. I do have a prescription foribuprofen but that doesn't help much either. My husband has to help me getup from bed and chairs all the time. I have a wheel chair and crutches.I really want to try the LDN as nothing else has helped but really Kaiserdoesn't do anything. I was told to exercise, which I can't because I have ashattered foot that isn't healing. The Fibro and the fracture are feedingoff each other. I can't walk because the Fibro has settled in the newfracture. So Kaiser IS willing to do surgery but something as simple as LDNisn't an option.Lee
