Guest guest
Hi all: I just started on LDN 4 weeks ago and after a week and a half, I got a horrible cold and I got new symptoms while having this cold, cramping in my hands and feet. I also looked up the common cold on the internet and it said it is actually a virus that turns into an infection -- didn't know that. I recently started taking antibiotics to help get rid of the cold and it is almost gone. I have noticed some symptom improvement since being on LDN such as stiffness almost gone and being able to take a warmer shower without increased symptoms, ie. nerve pain, and less nerve pain in general and some bladder improvement. In the last few days, I also increased my dosage from 3.5 to 4.5. I guess my questions are: Are antibiotics okay with LDN? Does the cramping in feet and hands sound like an LDN side effect or maybe a new symptom because of the cold? And, is cramping a common initial side effect when starting LDN? If so, should I lower my dose to see if it goes away? I did take the candida test before starting the antibiotics (spit in a glass (sorry) and it had lots of strings fast. I wonder if that was a candida problem or infection from the cold? I got a prescription for Diflucan (anti-fungal) to start after the antibiotics. Is Diflucan good to take if you have candida? Sorry soooo... many questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Annette
