Dear Carol :

The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) has

joined a number of other MS organizations in lobbying to keep greatly needed

funds available for MS research... And YOU can play an important role in this

critical cause.

Currently, the United States Congress is debating the budget

appropriation for the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The NIH is the

primary source of funding for MS research aimed at curing this challenging

disease. Under the proposals being considered, less funding would be available

for MS research.

This is where you can make a real difference. Lend your

voice to the hundreds of thousands of people affected by MS by contacting your

Representative and/or Senator to let him or her know that you want more money

allocated for MS research – money that will be used to find more

effective treatments and hopefully a cure.

Please visit MSAA’s website at http://www.msaa.com/NIH_Funding_Letter.htm,

where you will find additional information on how to voice your opinion on this

issue of vital importance.

Thank you,

Rapp

Please note: MSAA does not receive any financial support

from the NIH.

Should you wish to be removed from any further email

communications relating to multiple sclerosis advocacy from MSAA, please

respond to this message with “Please remove” in the subject line.
