About the adenoid thing, have you thought about getting a second opinion? IF you've done the research and your ENT can't give you a concrete answer as to why, or a concrete detrimental reason for taking them out, I would try to locate another ENT who could just give you their two cents worth. It might not be easy, but maybe someone on the list here has an ENT with a little more CHARGE experience who you could call yourself or get the number and pass it on to your ENT.
