Guest guest
Yes. when you make a solution of Xylitol you have to microwave the water to a boil. otherwise it will grow black stuff. just boiling isn't enough for reasons I don't know. Possibly there is enough junk in the air that it attracts to the moisture in it -- spores of various kinds. The thought of using the evil microwave to sterilize the super-heated water just doesn't fly for many folks, but its essential to know this if using xylitol as a syrup. .. or even during a boil alert from your local water supply. Hate to tell you this but there were many reports of same growing when farmers used Celtic Sea Salt in their raw butter. The Redmond salt did not ever do this. You can imagine the uproar in WAPF circles when this was verified by a number of upstanding members, including myself. I'm sure they deny it to this day. --tls Xylitol Just my $.02...been down the blind alley of xylitol. Did it with the cheap Chinese corn source stuff and the " good " organic tree source stuff. It all leads to the same place. The stuff is fertilizer for aspergillus niger (black mold). I got really enthused about it as a nasal spray because one time it completely emptied my head and stopped a severe infection within 15 minutes of spraying. Then it gave me a mold infection. You can mix up a solution of it, fresh and new, and you can spray it into your nostrils once or twice in a day to clean out an infection but then you had better dispose of it and not use it again for months. Don't ever keep any solution made with it, never ever. I think the stuff probably gets contaminated even in the dry state after you open a package of it then as soon as water hits it the bloom is on. When I made solutions with it, I began to be able to smell mold in it 2 days before I could see it. I really don't know if it's so much a poison as that it feeds poison so fast that you can't tell the difference.
Guest guest
A few months ago there was discussion on the benifit of Arginine and I seem to remember Swanson's Arginine AKG powder being recommended. When I check up I see their mix contains Xylitol so I guess this 'mix' should really be avoided? Cheers, B NZ Just my $.02...been down the blind alley of xylitol. Guest guest
I can vouch that I, for one, had a fungal outbreak after taking this brand or arginine for a few days. I'd say avoid it, even in small amounts. This is one instance where we do not know where the sweetener in this comes from. Swanson's " brands " are too vague and untraceable. Guest guest
I and others have used it very successfully. To each their own, but it's been a miracle for me. It got my sister's blood clot to dissolve in 2 1/2 months. She wisely quit the coumadin and used fish oil instead. Others I know are sick from the coumadin, and still have clots 18 years later. You have to decide for yourself. In this mic you start from dry every time, so there is no storage issue or time for black mold to show up. I must assume you all filter your water. And if you don't get a zero-water pitcher for your tap water. ---tls Re: Xylitol A few months ago there was discussion on the benifit of Arginine and I seem to remember Swanson's Arginine AKG powder being recommended. Guest guest
Everyone has different things going on. Different conditions being caused by different parasites, different molds, different fungus, different nutritional deficiencies. Everyone has to find what their body responds well to and stay far away from what makes it react badly. I have felt for years that the things in my gut are more animal than parasite. But I don't have the animal G has because they don't cause me pain or any discomfort except that I feel them and hate that. But they are seriously unaffected by everything I have done so somewhere, somehow, I need to get out the big guns, whatever they are. I haven't a clue. I thot Iodine and DMSO and MSM would do something to them. Then the herbs I put togehter I thot would help. I think I have to live with these. I'm very happy to have gotten my hair to stop falling out. After 8 years, it is pr-i-ttty thin. That was one of three final hurdles to get over and it was the biggest. Clay is still doing this for me and this is the easiest non-food thing I have had to take. " You're " crazy not to try it if you haven't. I used to wonder as a kid why a certain kid had the propensity to eat dirt. I don't wonder anymore! Guest guest
If you have intestinal parasites, take black walnut tincture, wormwood capsules, and ground cloves. They are sure-fire killers of any intestinal parasites. > > Everyone has different things going on. Guest guest
I've been as diligently as I can on this road for 4 years. I did the herbs you mention here. I mention that I believe what is in my gut is more animal than parasite. Nothing in the field of herbs has been able to touch them. Guest guest
I've very little of my present supply left and had contemplated re ordering just before Christmas - glad I didn't now. Next big question now is where to find an Arginine AKG replacement - back to the drawing board I guess. Our water supply is from a spring but I do filter it as a precaution. Guest guest
Good info, DB, xylitol is out, we should use HCL, 500 to one mix for nasal spray, great for asthma sufferers. great for clearing the sinus cavities. It sparks the immune system as well. I use this stuff, http://www.amazon.com/Nutricology-Hydrochloric-Acid-500-Liquid/dp/B0027UUJHA/ref\ =sr_1_17?ie=UTF8 & qid=1326644514 & sr=8-17 far better than iodine or saline solution for cleaning the sinus cavities. david lubbock tx.
