Guest guest
If you are having trouble getting your doctor to perscribe the band, you might want to try telling him that you went to a differant doctor for a second opinion and he says that you need the band blah, blah blah and you'd like his guarantee in writing that your child doesn't need it and why... so you can make the best choice for your child and have it documented. If they say that they won't do it, then get a copy of your child's records that day and tell them that you can get measurements to prove that your childs head is asymetric and ask why they refusing to treat her? I went to Dallas and got a Dr. out of my plan to perscribe the band then I went back to Austin and got the only Pedi Neuro to write me a script by a phone call I gave him after he denied it at the office visit. This was after he called with the MRI results and I added " So, nothings wrong with her? So, why'd ya do the MRI? " I then told him that I'd like a written explaination as to why he thinks the Band won't work? I then asked why I would have to come back after three months if she was fine. He wrote the script and had his nurse mail it to me. Be pleasant during all of this and smile. You'll get it. By the way, you already have that one doc that refered you and ask why he doesn't feel like the other person and get him to write his explaination of refusal. Good luck. > wrote: > did you get my post on the email address to tell that lady what you > are going through? P. > -----Original Message----- > From: aschton@y...
