Nadia, I hope you get your dream house, sweetie. I' d log on to a medical

website and

look up interstitial marks, pulmonology if it were me, just to get some

answers.

Good luck. Love, MM

Thank you -

That helps, some docs think you know what they are saying or probably they don't want to take the time to explain, but I suppose I need to ask - just didn't feel like it that day.

Luv,

Nadia

Hello Nadia,

I just wanted to let you know I've had two Ganglion cysts removed from my knee when I was 18 years old. That was 20 years ago a few years before any symptoms of Lupus and it was bening. My friend had the same thing on her wrist on the same side as her thumb is. It was also ok. I'm sure it'll be ok.

Good luck

Mojo

Just checking in

Hi eveeryone -Hope everyone is doing well and feeling well. Today I had, what my doctor thought were ganglion cysts cut out today from the left wrist. The hand surgeon is not sure what they were will have to wait until report from the pathologist. Thinks they are benign. He thought it was strange to have whatever they were in that area. Well, ya now with Lupus you can expect anything to pop up anywhere. Anyway, been a little depressed lately. I was also thinking that since the walkathon is coming up in October for Lupus in Washington, I'm going to purchase a lupies teeshirt for myself, husband (ex- whenever that's going to happen) nd my stepdaughter and whoever else walks with me. There will be news coverage maybe Lupies can get some exposure if they see us!. Well finally got the condo sold and my husband moved into his new apartment now he is even closer to me just across the parking lot in the same apartment complex. I'm very anxious to.... Oh - one more thing what are interstitial markings on a chest ex-ray? Is this something significant - my pulmonolist didn't seem to thinks so - actually he just said your chest x-ray looks almost normal except for these markings and then he said but it could just be your chest bone, doesn't he know the difference, he's the doctor? dahLuv, Nadia & Giovani"The LUPIES Store" Come check out our store...http://www.cafepress.com/thelupies"The LUPIES Web Page"http://www.itzarion.com/lupusgroup.html"The LUPIES online photo albums!" Hey Nadia:

Sorry I havent't called. I have been soooooo stressted about the work situation. Just holding out for an answer from the disability insurance co. Say a prayer. Do you remember when I had a ganglian cyst removed from my right wrist in 1993? Be sure and don't overdo it with your had. keep it elevated so that it won't throb. I'll say a prayer that it is benign. I take it closing went OK. Send me an email jeanne.evans@....

I'm very anxious to get into a house to call home - find some peace away from the city of alexandria. Sit out on a deck and hear nature, take in the morning sun with a warm cup of coffee, maybe i'll start a garden of beautiful flowers - but it's going to get cold here pretty soon, oh well may next spring. I usually flare every year in Oct, Nov probably due to weather change, do any of you flare during these months? Well signing off now, typing with one hand. Thank you -

I'm sure it will be fine also, I guess I'll find out this Thursday. They weren't ganglion cysts - doc wasn't sure what they were and he said whatever they were (giant cell ...something maybe) that they were in a strange place. Well I just hate when one thing happens after another, and they are things that docs just can't quite put there finger on...so really keeps you guessing yourself. Anyway, take care love always.

Nadia,

My mom had a rather large cyst somewhere around her wrist that was causing problems. It was not a ganglion and the doctor told her he couldn't really tell her a lot about it til he got in there. She had a lot of pain in that wrist but ignored it for some time as she thought it was just osteoarthritis. She recovered well from the surgery with only minimal pain the first few days. She's had no problems since and I think it's been over a year.

Good luck
