Guest guest
Mine tasted hers today for the first time, and it didn't taste good at all, so we sweetened it with some honey and that helped somewhat. Mine is older though and is easier to reason with. Guest guest
Hi , just FYI. We use stevia to sweeten the herb. I have tried honey ( in our second oround) and somehow my son can't tolerate honey very well and started stimming and OCD a little bit. I asked Dr. Peng to brew another new batch of herb withouth adding honey, but he added dates to give herbs some fruity flavor, and goes very well with stevia. Again, each child is different, maybe your daughter has no problem with honey, just in case she has any reactions related to anxiety, you may switch to stevia for sweetening purpose. Guest guest
Thanks, Rei, I'll keep an eye on that. I don't think she has a problem with honey; however, if I put a teaspoon in each serving, that's three teaspoons a day...something to watch out for. I told her that we'd play around with sweeteners and try to find the one she likes best. Guest guest
Ok, My son reactst to honey really back. We know that honey will not raise yeast level, but everytime we give him honey, he is just not a honey at all... ( turns in to a mad, mean, aggressive boy and his pets are his victims...) Guest guest
If your child is picky about taste like my son ( He only drinks ice water with lemon and stevia.), just let Dr. Peng knows. For my son, he added dates in the herb mix, so somehow, after dates blend into with other herbs, the herb juice taste more fruity, after we add 2-3 packs of stevia, it tastes really good. I discover another way to feed him herb juice. While he is taking epsem salt bath, in a relaxed mood, I give him herb juice spoon by spoon. He likes it cold. And I nod down whole cup of juice without any problems. Guest guest
I sweetened it with xylitol the last two servings, and she didn't say a word. She usually complains when I use xylitol saying that it burns, but I don't think she noticed a difference. I think sometimes if I use too much that's when it burns. Guest guest
Wow, that is a good news. How does your daughter respond to the herb mix? What about your concern regarding not giving her enzyme before you started the herb? Guest guest
Hi everyoneMy son is taking theradopholis. I was told Threelac works better for treating yeast. Has anyone tried this and would I give him the Threelac instead or both?Sent via BlackBerry by AT&TDate: Mon, 17 Nov 2008 06:12:52 -0800 (PST)To: <mb12 valtrex >Subject: Re: Re: :Detox is the Main Function of Chinese Medicine Science Wow, that is a good news. Guest guest
By the third serving, she said, "it's not good, but I think I'm getting used to it. It's not disgusting." Also, I added a bit of milk to it. (My daughter is not CF). You know, how some people add cream and sugar to their coffee?? Maybe others could add whatever form of "milk" they give their children. If she wouldn't have drank it that way, I was thinking to juice some fruit (preferably pears) and mix it with that. I may buy some prunes and do what Dr. Peng does, thanks for that, too, Rei. So far, so good.
