Guest guest
I just started my dairy-allergic/SCD 3 1/2 yr old son on Transfer Factor at the recommendation of Dr. Bock, two days ago. He's had 1/2 capsule each night for 2 nights. This was following one of the best weeks he's had in EONS!!! Those two days following have been very rough: he's been fragile, hitting and easily frustrated (he hits to test boundaries and get attention and not very often), whiney, not interested in even his most favorite therapist, begging for his SCD muffins like they were laced with pure sugar or something and having odd poops (slimey but solid with undigested food). So, here's my question: Is this die-off or not tollerating the supplement? I googled around and saw that it can produce die-off in people, but my big concern is that he's just not tollerating it. How to tell the difference???? I would love to hear from anyone how is or has used this and went through anything similar. Thanks, Stacie Mom to Will, 3 1/2, fighting hard to recover from ASD...and winning!
