Guest guest
I had a parathyroid tumor removed in 1999. Those symptoms are an understatement! Hyperparathyroidism is diagnosed initially by high blood calcium. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of Hi all -- Take a look at the symptoms of a malfunctioning parathyroid gland. I stumbled upon this while doing research because I have a condition (recurrent benign giant cell tumors) that one of my doctors said he had heard of in his practice and one factor was a malfunctioning parathyroid gland. Okay so check out these symptoms. Sound familiar ladies?? Symptoms of Parathyroid DiseaseLoss of energy. Don't feel like doing much. Tired all the time. Just don't feel well; don't quite feel normal. Guest guest
So , do you fit the bill for those symptoms? And what does your doc recommend to "fix" that? Guest guest
Well Mad - they are investigating my case (my hand surgeon that is). He wants to look into why I keep getting these tumors. I've had quite a few surgeries to remove them. But the reason I posted these symptoms is because they all fit the " Menopause " list! > Hi all -- Take a look at the symptoms of a malfunctioning > parathyroid gland. Yes and other than my spotting I hardly have any of the symptoms you listed. I used to have a lot of those before I started BHRT and thyroid supplementation. I would imagine if you do have parathyroid problems, that could have something to do with the problems you are having. Worth checking out! So have you been tested for hypoparathyroidism or hyperparathyroidism? Madeleen > Hi all -- Take a look at the symptoms of a malfunctioning > parathyroid gland. Guest guest
Well lots of women I know developed kidney stones after being on hormone therapy (those progestins!). I have lots of these symptoms. But most all of them describe menopausal women. > > Hi all -- Take a look at the symptoms of a malfunctioning > > parathyroid gland.
