Guest guest
That's one area we don't worry about. All medical calls are handled through the county 911 emergency operations center (aka EOC - they have EMDs plus dispatch all ambulances county wide). So whether it's a call for an ambulance or a medical alarm, we transfer the call to EOC (and they call us back to send a first responder fire department rescue unit, if their protocol dictates). So if EOC calls us to cancel, we will. If the alarm company calls to cancel, we transfer the call to them and our respond -ers stay enroute until the county folks cancel us. EJ Fayetteville NC Communications --- Original Message --- Does anyone have policies re cancellation of medical alarms (Like the pushbutton " Help, I've fallen and I can't get up! " types)? -Ken
