Oh dear!!!! Please get help for him soon! I have nearly died 2 times

from varices,and when you start to hemmorage it can be so bad,i

nearly bled to death very quickly,The grace of god and a great trauma

team saved me,and they didnt think they were gonna be able to. I will

keep you both in my prayers tonight. love,

Sorry,forgot to add call the rescue,they can handle the bleeding better than

you,and if I wouldn't had already been in an ambulance the last time,I wouldnt

be here to write this.

has been coughing a lot lately. He just vomited about 2 ounces of blood...I

called the dr on call and he said to come in for an evaluation.. .but that he

didn't feel it was a variceal bleed because they are usually involve copious

amounts of blookd.

So....I live 40 minutes from the hospital...am i safe driving him myself or

should I call the first aid crew?

If anyone happens to be readin this right now, which do you think I should do?

The doctor was hesitant to say if I should drive him or call the rescue...I know

they canbe expensive if the doctors decide it was not an emergancy.

okay, i guess we will drive to the hospital as he has not had any vomiting for

an hour now...will keep all of you informed

I'm not trying to worry you its just that my boyfriend called the ambulance for

me before I even started to bleed,but when it started it was terrible,even if it

isnt so bad he still has lost enough blood to be very concerned,its a shame you

are so far from a hospital. hugs,
