Yes. That is what Dr. Peng told us that one of the functions from the various herbs is helping break down food. At first, I am not quite sure if herb along can take care of all the digestive issue, but I also do not want to overload my son, so while he is on the herb, I cut down the eznyme from 3 times a day to only 1 enzyme per day. We open up one capsule and spread the powder ( enzyem) on his turkey sandwich that he brings to school as afternoon snack. So, that is only time he takes enzyme. I could say most of time we rely on the herb to help him break down and digest food. But, each child is defferent. For my son's case, in the past, if we skipped enzyme, he was just not himself, tantrum, OCD, and aggitive to a degree to hit people... Now, I am down to only one enzyme along with herb, he is a well behaved boy, calm, and good at

controlling his temper on his own.... I can't see any signs of troublesome from digesting food, or GI issues, he seems to absorb nutrtions better now, because he gains muscle on his arms and tummy. I hope this could help.

I still haven't gotten my herbs!!! We had a phone consult 2 weeks ago and he was going to ship them on Monday 11/10. On Thursday he called and said he had a question about my herbs and I didn't end up talking to him until Saturday. He said he'd mail out my herbs on Monday 11/17. I still don't have them. I hope I get them soon. I wanted to start them over my son's 5 day weekend.
