Guest guest
DMG can cause hyperactivity, did for us, TMG was great, loads of language came with it. PCA-Rx caused a severe regression in a child whose Mom contacted me about 6-8 weeks after she started taking it. Caused extreme inattentiveness. Which of the following supps could be causing hyperactivity/inattention? I know it may not be the supps...we're looking at other factors too such as diet...She has been both hyper and inattentive off and on for quite some time (couple months or so). Or...on the flip side, what could I look into adding to our almost 3 y/o daughter's protocol? Here is the list of what she takes daily. Some days she's pretty hyper (very babbly, jumping around and excited). Others she can be pretty innattentive -- singing while therapist is trying to work with her, looking everywhere but where she should be, wanting to get up and walk around instead of do the therapy. Thanks in advance! Here is her list of stuff. (she is GFCFSF and we're moving towards SCD)Morning:Multivite, Multiminerals, DMG mixed in tablespoon of OJCoQ-10 chewable1/4 teaspoon CLO mixed in teaspoon pear juice (she is at the top of the range on Vitamin A)1/2 teaspoon Diflucan (we just started this 2 days ago but just finished Ketoconazole last week for a month)Afternoon:Zinc, multimineral(2nd dose) mixed together in syringeVitamin C chewables Monolauren mixed in tablespoon pear juiceEvening:Vitamin C (2nd dose)1/2 t diflucan (2nd dose)S.Boulardii mixed in tsp pear juiceGlutathione creamEpsom Salt bathMB12 nose spray (1 spray per nostril)PCA Rx Spray (6 sprays by mouth)Kim
Guest guest
Could be any of those supplements, esp suspect multivitamins - do they have any folic or folinic in them? even things like b6 can be bad for some kids natasa > > > I know it may not be the supps...we're looking at other factors too > such as diet... > > She has been both hyper and inattentive off and on for quite some > time (couple months or so). Guest guest
In my opinion, the MB12 nose spray would be better off given in the afternoon than evening. Guest guest
Wow, it's like a factory! Are there variations your little girl's behavior that might be correlated to the timing of the supplements? Diflucan is a known heavy weight. Did the behavior improve when you changed antifungals? DMG with MB12 can be related to hyperactivity based on my experience with my 5 yo ASD son. --penumbra > > I know it may not be the supps...we're looking at other factors too > such as diet... > > She has been both hyper and inattentive off and on for quite some > time (couple months or so).
