Good Morning ,I feel bad for your son and family. I am sending you a link to something we use and it is GREAT. We all use it at time in our house. It is affordable, has no taste, color and is compatible with the diets our kid/families are on. If you can't find it at your local health food, store email at my direct email and I will pick it up for you and ship it to you. It really is great. We no longer have to give our daughter suppositories and many other icky stuff.

Have a good day,techmom3@...http://www.iherb.com/productdetails.aspx?c=1 & pid=5103770846710135372 & utm_source=y & utm_medium=c & OVRAW=clear%20organic%20fiber & OVKEY=clear%20organic%20fiber & OVMTC=standard & OVADID=19186630512 & OVKWID=180521987512

My son went from chronic yeasty mush to chronic constipation, to the

point he was in the hospital this week for 2 days, getting " cleaned

out " . His GI doctor wants him on Miralax daily. At the DAN!

Conference in San Diego a few weeks back, doctors firmly agreed that

Miralax is NOT a good idea for our ASD kiddos. I gave him Mag-Citrate

from Kirkman's. The first time was ok, the 2nd time, he threw it

right up, and it was scalding hot. Emphasis on scalding hot. Hotter

than really, really warm bath water. It literally burned my husband's

hand. Not sure what that was about, but I am concerned about his

esophagus, if we try it again. The GI specialist said that if he gets

backed up in 3 or so days, he could begin the blockage process again.

I need to know what a sure fire way to keep him going. I will be

adding fiber, since he is GF/CF, sugar free, yeast free, soy free, and

on the Feingold diet as well. Any suggestions on safe products for

constipation would be really, really appreciated.

Thank You,

Sutfin

OK, then I'm thinking about something else that helped me, nut I didn't mention it before, because it is a little radical in the view of some, and I don't know if you will be able to get him to eat it, but you never know.

Home cultured/fermented vegetables were a really big help to me in this area. It provides billions of probiotics, and made movements " lubricated " . That's the only word I know of to describe it.I just chopped up some cabbage, put in a >very< little sea salt, and then waited for it to ferment. I started with one spoonful, and worked up from there, eventually having a serving with each meal. I grew to crave it. You might be able to sneak some of the juice into something he likes, to get him on it.

I hope you find something to help the little guy...-- Warmest Regards,Robin LittleWe do the baths about 5-6 nights a week. I avoid apples, it feeds his yeasty behaviors.

....APPLES? ...

Drives me nuts that something like a cultured vegetable is considered

radical. I think it's radical that we all have to look at so many

interventions to heal our kids when really if we would all get back

to the way our bodies were designed to function we'd see a major

decrease in epidemics such as the one we are all in.

Cultured vegetables were huge to help with our live/constipation

issues.

My favorite simple blend:

cabbage

beets

carrots

garlic

I make bring and add in A body ecology culture starter. It takes

about 7 days to ferment and then can be stored a few months in the

fridge.

Believe me I used to think cultured foods were radical too. I

understand, truly I do. But now I see how radical it is that we

aren't eating whole foods. We've totally lost our minds.

Regarding getting kids to eat this. Once the body starts to heal

and change you want these foods. My little addict loves them now.

Moms and Dads have good attitudes about all this and the kids will

pick up on it.

There is really no down side to aloe vera.

Is is a positve help in reducing inflammation and

in the healing of the digestive tract,

as well as an aid in combatting constipation.
