Hi all. Leland , co-author of the New York Times Bestseller

" America's Dumbest Criminals " contacted me and asked if I would do a brief

announcement and request on his behalf.

He just published (it's currently in stores) a new book entitled " What's

the Number for 911? " It is a humorous book filled with stories and

transcripts of stupid 911 phone calls. The book is doing well but he is

constantly being told that it would get better publicity if he could obtain

actual 911 calls on tapes (preferably stupid, weird or funny ones).

So this is sort of two bulletins in one- he's letting us know about his new

book. I went to Amazon.com and got the link if you want to check it out:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0740700324/qid%3D956578711/103-2745013-17\

81453.

And he's requesting copies of tapes (or dates and times of funny calls so

he can obtain them via the freedom of info act). His email address is

govgoofs@... if you'd like to contact him.

Thanks,

Ken
