Guest guest
In a message dated 00-04-26 03:16:06 EDT, you write: << But as long as the media is going to give them as much free publicity as they want for their fight with their homeland dictator, they will take it and run with it as fast and long as they can. >> let me add my Bravo to your statement . My sense was that this is probably the biggest thing that ever happened to this group of individuals and they just can't let it go. I wonder too what kind of damage this, like so many other crisis situations that are played over and over and over again on the news does to our children. When this one child, Xiania Fairchild was kidnapped last fall she was from a town not far from mine and children in my neighbor were scared that they too would be taken -- for a few of the younger ones the constant repetition of the negative aspects of it -- not how hard the police were working, but the negative parts they would wonder if more than one child was taken. Showing the violent parts over and over has got to be disturbing our children.
