Guest guest
Michele, I know you must be a bit disappointed with having to go back to the tube for a while, but it sounds to me like very soon Aubrie will be eating all for herself without the tube. Just for the record, when we stopped giving Arch his overnight feed back in November, he also lost a little weight for a while. I think it takes them a while to make up the balance. By the way, have you tried cutting Aubrie's overnight feed by degrees? That's what we did with Archie -- in the end I was just giving him a bolus of 4-5 oz before bed (he does not drink milk) -- and it was fairly easy to cut that completely. He too seemed a lot happier without the night feeds -- I think they gave him wind and cramps. He sleeps right through now, till 7.30 am. Good luck, and patience -- I'm sure it won't be long now! , Simon and Archie 1yr. Southampton
