--We give our son melatonin 6 mg and 9 mg on injection nights. It

helps him get to sleep, but it doesn't prevent the early waking. We

find he just wakes when he needs to pee and can't get back to sleep.

He may be ready for a later bedtime. Before giving products, try

moving his bedtime foreward.
