Guest guest
Your saliva testing does not show adrenal fatigue. Maybe the very beginnings of it, but not much at all. I would think you might benefit from some Phospatidyl Serene at bedtime but you probably mostly need more thyroid. 1 grain is a very tiny dose and most folks need between 3 & 5 grains to feel well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thanks Val, I think it just shows how crap these tests are as I've had adrenal fatigue for 12 years lol! The ref ranges are far too wide. I've tried phos serine, it does help. What do you think of the really high DHEA? Thanks again, Anne > > Your saliva testing does not show adrenal fatigue. It looks to me like you may be producing more on the androgen side of the spectrum rather than the corticosteroid side, and I have seen this a couple times in people that had alot of adrenal symptoms. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

No Val, I deliberatly avoided taking any adrenal supps on the day, just had one capsule of ashwagandha the day before. Also took NO armour on the day. What do you mean producing more on the androgen side rather than the corticosteroid side? Thanks again! Anne
Guest guest
How do you know you have adrenal insufficiency if the tests aren't showing it? Did it show up on blood testing? Or just by symptoms? Best, Handcrafted Jewelry ~ http://www.ChestnutHillDesigns.comCurly Horse Rescue ~ http://www.CurlyRescue.com ~Age is a case of mind over matter. Guest guest
, I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome 12 yrs ago (very sudden onset triggered by hep b vaccines/mercury toxicity) with extreme fatigue, hypoglycaemia, stress intolerance. Inability to exercise without crashing etc. emotional lability, depression, anxiety etc. Those tests dont test for abnormal stress response which is what I get. I can't work or do exercise or even do much physical stuff at all eg housework, shopping etc. I'm just at home all day living a kind of stress-free life. If I try to live a normal life, I always crash. I had a strong hyper reaction when I first started armour then crashed which is another sign of adrenal problems. I know whats wrong, it's just really annoying these tests dont reflect whats really going on. Anne > > How do you know you have adrenal insufficiency if the tests aren't showing it? Guest guest
So you're basing that on symptoms, then. My adrenal saliva test did show adrenal insufficiency (right on the very bottom baseline of the range), but I kwym about the stress. I cannot handle stress at all, and have been under a lot lately. I've been a mess. I had a terrible telephone call on Saturday morning, where I was berated by a person, and I was sick all day long. I shook, curled up on the couch and cried all day it was horrible. I couldn't even think, or think about what had transpired, without shaking more and getting sick to my stomach, and being paralyzed. I've never had that problem before, it was awful. Hmmm, I wonder if taking Isocort has made it so that I cannot handle stress anymore? Guest guest
Androgens are DHEA from which the sex hormones are made. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
The Ashwaganda could have skewed the tests too as it basically keep Cortisol in you r system longer. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I have been taking Isocort for about 3 weeks now, and I find that I have become weaker and more tired, and crash more frequently. Perhaps its because I am finally supplementing the adrenals with cortisol, they have completely given up and aren't producing anything any more and the Isocort isn't strong enough to get me through the day. In which case I guess HC is the next step. Anne - the symptoms you have describe me to a tee. I have had chronic fatigue for 18 months now after a dentist removed a mercury filling without taking any precautions. I am now pretty much housebound, but have 3 young children to bring up. ( Are you treating the adrenals? Did Armour work for you? Nicola > > > > How do you know you have adrenal insufficiency if the tests aren't > showing it? Did it show up on blood testing? Guest guest
Nicola, I seem to be noticing the same thing. And the only thing that helps it is MORE HC. I'm afriad it will continue until I am taking huge doses on a daily basis. I fear I am setting up a severe dependency issue here. Guest guest
I think many folks will find Isocort in ANY dosage s not strong enough. When you get to 8 pellets a day of Isocort and still have adrenal symptoms, I would suggest it is time for Hydrocortisone. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
