Guest guest Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 I wouldn't imagine you'd want anything getting in the middle ear or possibly clogging the tube. If there is some outer ear issue, maybe putting a drop on the tip of a Q-tip and gently swabbing the entry might be a better choice.
