Guest guest
For a gut kid, I would go to Dr. Jepson at Thoughtful House. He works with Dr. Krigsman, so you can coordinate treatments.
Guest guest
We've been seeing Dr. Bock for about two years now. I don't know of any other doctors to compare him to, but our daughter has lost her Asperger's diagnosis. We are in New Jersey and drive two hours each way to see him. He does phone consults too after the initial appointment. I heard he wasn't accepting new patients, but his two partners are. His brother/partner specializes in Lyme. With our daughter, it was lead, PANDAS, and some allergies, but she's doing great now. You can email me offlist if you have more questions. Guest guest
Hi, did you do Chelation? my son's lead is high (autism) I wonder where my son got lead! we always lived in new construction - I am so paranoic about every toy, water, everthing in the environment, thank you for sharing. > > We've been seeing Dr. Bock for about two years now. Guest guest
Thanks for the responses. I'd really like to know exactly how Dr. Bock addresses virals. And how would he treat a patient from long distance (I am scared to drive to NY from WI in Jan for our appt.-- but will do it!)? Has anyone with a severely autistic child successfully worked with him? Is he an agreesively treating doc? Use herbs? Meds? As for lead--it can be on the painted enamel of dishes, crock pots, venetian blinds...it's everywhere! > > > > We've been seeing Dr. Bock for about two years now. Guest guest
Yes, we are still doing chelation. We've done 6 rounds of DMSA. Her lead level went from 15 to 6 and now we're doing 2 more rounds to get it under the 5 he wants it to be at. About the new construction...we lived in a new construction townhome in Chicago from the time my daughter was 13 months old to almost 4. If you read Dr. Bock's book, he actually discusses that NEW construction is a source for lead. So I'm thinking that's where she got it. We moved in and they were still doing construction around us the entire time we lived there. I have a friend who lived in the same situation--new construction for three years, still building around them, and her daughter is newly diagnosed at 5. I'm not saying that there's our source, but it's something that I never knew. > > > > We've been seeing Dr. Bock for about two years now. Guest guest
How was the response from chelation? thank you for sharing. > > > > > > We've been seeing Dr. Bock for about two years now. Guest guest
> > How was the response from chelation? thank you for sharing. > >My daughter has responded very well. She did DMSA which is a capsule taken three times a day. She has done 7 rounds so far--One round is three days on, 11 days off. She has had the BUN liver test after three rounds (so twice now) and has shown no adverse effects on the liver. She has had no side effects during the DMSA three days on, and her lead level went down from 15 to 6. So now we're doing three more rounds to get the lead level under level 5, and then we'll be done. This lead chelation is easier than the supplements!
