Is this a possible Valtrex reaction?

Hey all, we've only been on the valtrex for 12 days and I am hoping

that my son is having a reaction to it. He's had a crusty sort of pink

patch of skin next to his mouth for about a week, and a tiny blister

like spot on his back for a few days but nothing major, like a big

rash. However, his behaviour is just shy of demonic! He is being

extremely aggressive (where he is normally quite sweet) and destructive

and having major meltdowns, which are usually a rarity. Anybody else

have this as a reaction, and if so- when did it start to get better?
