I would try EDTA bath soak, or Chi Bath detox......asapAmy Angeles <amy_angeles71@ ...> wrote:>> My son did 3 months of dmsa chelation. The first couple of rounds he seemed to do well but not really seeing anything since. So, basically dmsa pulls out metal from organs but the body does not excrete it without help? What should I do? Not sure if I understand your question. DMSA does excrete metals. Mercury and lead for sure. It actually helps ala get the metals out once bonded if also using that ( sound like no? ) . Did you do Cutlers protocol? Where did you hear that DMSA needs help? DMSA does not pass the blood brain barrier to chelate from the brain. Maybe that is what you mean? ALA does do this. EDTA is not good for mercury toxic kids/people..but if mercury isnt a problem. DMSA chelates through urine. Kind of confused here

I read that mercury can stay in the blood stream and be redistributed if you don't use ala or if dmsa is not used properly. No, not doing cutler, but want to start. We were doing dmsa 3x a day for 3 days and off for 11. Cutler says you should do it every 4 hrs at 50mg is that right. I'm not real sure on how cutler protocol works either.>> My son did 3 months of dmsa chelation. I agree with . It would be good for you to join the autism-mercury group.

DMSA at 3x a day imho is not the safest protocol and will cause more redistribution than

the Cutler protocol at every 4 for DMSA alone. It goes by the half life of the chelator.

There is no set mg dosing as it goes by your weight. My 30 lb son gets 4 mg every 3

hours DMSA as well as 4 mg ALA. When adding ALA the timing of doses goes

to every 3 hours round the clock for 3 days. My son is doing very well on the Cutler

protocol.
